I design for 200+ million monthly players who expect magic in microseconds.
Hey, I'm Michael — a UX Designer at King (Microsoft) working on Candy Crush Saga's core gameplay experience, serving millions of daily players. I design features that keep users coming back while building AI-powered tools that help teams ship faster.
At Ubisoft, I transformed legacy titles into modern live service games and led a complete development cycle from concept to soft-launch over two years.
I like figuring out the right problems to solve, focusing on products that people genuinely love. Understanding human motivation at its core: the satisfaction of progress, the thrill of discovery, the pull of mastery.
Outside work, I'm an avid photography and camera geek, currently building a weekly film photography game that blends Wordle's anticipation mechanics with BeReal's authentic expression.
You'll also find me lurking on Hugging Face, tinkering with image models and experimenting to create the first genuine AI-based film simulation (trying and failing, but learning). It's all part of my exploration in designing technology that steps aside so creativity can flourish. (I'd love to tell you more about it)
Let's build something unforgettable together!
